The Great Wall of Yao Ming

Keep hearing from teamates (ex & current) about how GRRRREAT Yao Ming has become these days. No disrespect to Mr Ming, but for 5 years, we've been hearing how great he will become... someday. So far? He's been playing as great as a poor man's Rik Smits. 5 years into his pro career and he's already missed half of the 06 season (injured his leg hair), and 1/4 of 07 (vaginal infection). Right now, Mr Ming is about as sturdy as the great wall of China, only he's made of marsh mellows 'n not bricks. But hey on the bright side, they can both be seen from outerspace!

Today, ESPN's Tim Legler gave his own opinion about Yao:

Rockets center Yao Ming --- Injured now, but Yao has now taken the title of Best Center in the Game. This is the first year that unofficial title hasn't been owned by Shaq since his second or third year. I think this is the first year Yao expects to dominate when he goes to the arena.
